Belavia gained the right to execute maitenance operations for foreign airlines
"Belavia – Belarusian Airlines” became the first organization in Belarus that got the Certificate EASA Part-145, completing successfully the whole cycle of the necessary procedures to obtain the permission of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for maintaining a service for Western aeronautical equipment.
According to the results of certification audit carried out by the experts auditors of EASA, “Belavia” confirmed correspondence of the level of technical services of the airlines operating on the territory of European Union to the certification requirements applied to organizations rendering maintenance services and repairs of airborne vehicles and their components.
“We’ve got another confirmation of the fact that the work of our specialists complies with the highest international quality standards and ensures flight safety. Now European airlines can apply to specialists of aeronautical technical base of “Belavia – Belarusian Airlines” for rectification of discrepancies that were discovered during the technical inspection in Belarus. Not all aeronautical technical units of foreign airlines have the same results as “Belavia”, - communicated General Director of JSC “Belavia – Belarusian Airlines” Anatoly Gusarov.
Obtaining of the Certificate EASA Part-145 gives the right to the specialists of aeronautical technical base of the “Belavia – Belarusian Airlines” for implementation of works of line maintenance checks and repairs of airborne vehicles Boeing 737-300/ -500 and CRJ 100/200, including defect rectification and components replacements. It gives the possibility to lend full technical assistance to European airlines in the National airport “Minsk” and allows to “Belavia” to get additional
